James R. Andrade

James R. Andrade is currently a trustee at Roger Williams University. Prior to that, they worked for the Pawtucket RI Public School System, Saint Joseph Regional High School, and American Cyanamid/American Home Products/Wyeth.

Andrade began their career as a teacher at Saint Joseph Regional High School in September 2004, teaching chemistry to five sections of sophomores and juniors and algebra I/II to five sections of freshman and sophomores in two separate years. James also served on the planning committee for the visit of the Middle States Association of Secondary Schools certification visit.

In December 1977, Andrade started working at American Cyanamid/American Home Products/Wyeth as an associate director in the R&D department. There they were responsible for managing medium sized groups of scientists conducting pharmaceuticals chemical process and analytical R&D, as well as metrology support of analytical R&D.

James R. Andrade has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Master of Science (M.S.) in Chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross. James also has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from Brown University.
