Matthew Kite

Matthew Kite, LP.D., is an accomplished academic and law enforcement professional with extensive experience in educational leadership and criminal justice. Currently serving as Associate Dean and Director of Criminal Justice at Roger Williams University Extension School since November 2016, Matthew oversees program coordination, faculty hiring, and course assessments. Additionally, Matthew has taught as an Adjunct Faculty member at Roger Williams University and the University of Phoenix. With a longstanding career at the Cranston Police Department from 1997 to 2025, Matthew held multiple roles, including Information Technology Manager, Policy Manager, and Captain of Community Outreach, demonstrating expertise in technology management, policy development, and community relations. Matthew's educational background includes a Doctor's Degree in Law & Policy from Northeastern University and multiple certifications in law enforcement and safety training.
