Richard Li

Richard Li has extensive work experience in the actuarial field. Richard is currently serving as a Senior Manager - Actuarial at SWAN Mauritius since September 2019. Previously, they held the position of Head of Actuarial and Insurance Services at Rogers Capital starting from October 2016. Richard also served as the Director of Insurance Services at Kross Border Corporate Services Limited from January 2013 until September 2016. Richard has also worked at KPMG UK as an Actuarial Executive Advisor from June 2010 to December 2012, PwC UK as an Actuarial Manager from March 2008 to May 2010, and Mercer UK as an Actuarial Trainee from July 2006 to February 2008. Richard started their career as an Actuarial Analyst at The Anglo Mauritius Assurance Society Ltd from August 2004 to June 2006, and as an Actuarial Assistant at Feber Associates from March 2003 to September 2003.

Richard Li attended the Royal College of Port Louis from 1991 to 1997 and obtained a Cambridge Higher School Certificate in Science. Richard then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Actuarial Science from the University of Melbourne from 1999 to 2002. Later, they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Actuarial Management from Cass Business School in 2003-2004. In 2007, Richard Li received the certification of Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries from The Faculty and Institute of Actuaries.
