Joseph Christian

Joseph Christian, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joseph currently serves as a Senior Financial Analyst at Rogers Group Inc. since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Staff Accountant at Bluemont Group, LLC from January 2021 to March 2023. Joseph also held the role of Warehouse Manager at Dow from July 2020 to January 2021.

Before transitioning into finance and accounting roles, Joseph was a Senior Analyst in the US Army from October 2014 to October 2020. In this role, they conducted assessments and analysis of vendor products and services within a $10M contract. Joseph also implemented process improvements, managed virtual teams, and developed standard operating procedures.

Earlier in their career, Joseph worked as a Sourcing Clerk at Alpha Natural Resources from August 2010 to October 2014. Joseph was responsible for generating purchase orders, coordinating cross-functional collaboration, and implementing measures for product documentation and inventory management.

Joseph also has experience in child care coordination, having served as a Child Care Coordinator at Amazing Grace Fellowship from March 2010 to August 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Nursing Assistant at Charleston Area Medical Center Health System from March 2008 to August 2010.

Joseph's initial work experience includes a cashier and stock coordinator role at SJB Foods Inc from February 2004 to March 2008.

Joseph Christian, PMP has a diverse education history. Joseph first earned a High School Diploma in General Studies from Sherman High School in 2007. Following this, they pursued an Associate of Arts (AA) in Arabic Studies at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center from 2015 to 2016.

In 2017, Joseph enrolled at the University of Maryland Global Campus and completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration in 2019. Building on their undergraduate degree, they decided to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Accounting from Western Governors University, which they are expected to complete between 2021 and 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Joseph has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Joseph completed the Primavera P6 Essential Training and Cert Prep: Project Management Professional (PMP) from LinkedIn in 2020. Joseph also earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in the same year. Furthermore, they acquired expertise in purchasing foundations through a certification from LinkedIn in 2020 as well.
