Ann Scholhamer

Ann Scholhamer has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Ann most recently served as the Vice President of Operations at the Chicago Reader since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Communications at the Rogers Park Montessori School from 2018 onwards, where they created and managed communication and marketing strategies for the school.

Before their tenure at the Montessori School, Ann held various roles at the Brenda Borri Company from 1987 to 2019. Ann began as a Media Planner and Sales Assistant, working closely with the sales staff in both Chicago and New York. Ann then progressed to the position of Account Executive and Office Manager, where they facilitated client service teams and managed all aspects of national TV sales. Ultimately, they became the Vice President of the company and handled client support, maintained relationships with clients and vendors, and managed staff and project management.

Ann Scholhamer obtained a Certificate in Grant Writing from DePaul University in 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Advertising from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completing their studies between 1981 and 1985.
