Ilya Kozhemyakin

Ilya Kozhemyakin has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ilya began their career in 2011 as a Geoscientist at IPGG SB RAS, where they focused on reservoir model building and conducted fundamental research in gas fields formation processes. Ilya also contributed to software development and testing during their time at the company.

In 2013, Ilya joined Weatherford as a Field Fracturing Engineer, where they analyzed geological and technical information to prepare frac designs and job schedules for hydraulic operations. Ilya later became a Senior Fracturing Engineer and collaborated with clients throughout the process cycle, while also providing instruction to field engineers.

In 2018, Ilya transitioned to Rock Engineering Services, where they were the Head of the Engineering Department at a hydraulic fracturing startup company. Ilya managed the department and worked on general strategic tasks to provide engineering solutions to clients. Their efforts resulted in significant time savings and the implementation of approved engineering solutions.

During the same period, Ilya also worked at Geonavigatsionnye Tekhnologii as a Product Manager. Ilya was responsible for the hydraulic fracturing software development and managed a team of developers and quality assurance professionals. Ilya introduced weekly sprints for code writing and functional testing, and successfully managed a distinct project as a contractor for the scientific back-end solution.

Ilya Kozhemyakin completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Petroleum Geology from Novosibirsk State University (NSU) from 2007 to 2013. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Product Management based on Analytics from GoPractice, Inc in December 2020.
