David Gremmels

David Gremmels is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the food and tourism industries. As a Commissioner for the Oregon Tourism Commission since September 2022, Gremmels contributes to promoting tourism and enhancing the state's economy. Gremmels has served as the President of Rogue Creamery since July 2002, overseeing operations, research, development, and marketing strategies. Additionally, Gremmels has been a Sustainability Board Member for the State of Oregon since May 2012, advising on sustainability practices. Gremmels also held a position on the Board of Directors of the Specialty Food Association from June 2016 to June 2020 and was Chairman of the American Cheese Society from August 2008 to August 2011, where leadership helped the organization achieve self-management. Previously, Gremmels worked as the Vice President of Product Development at Harry and David, where innovative product design processes were established. Gremmels holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Pacific Lutheran University.
