David Šabata

David Šabata has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and engineering. David currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at ROI Hunter, where they are responsible for setting the vision and strategy for the department, fostering an engineering culture, ensuring timely delivery and quality, and budgeting. David also introduced the Shape Up methodology to the company, which was rolled out to the entire engineering-product-design organization. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Engineering at ROI Hunter, where they focused on building a great engineering environment and handling various responsibilities, including hiring, firing, and reporting to the CEO. David started their journey at ROI Hunter as a Backend Developer, where they took over a PoC of an ads management tool and turned it into an in-house project.

Before joining ROI Hunter, David had experience working at Business Factory as an Android and Web Developer, where they contributed to the development of the "You. bo" platform. David also worked at AkcevBrně.cz as a Full-stack Developer and co-founder, where they built the technical solution for a local culture events aggregator.

David's earlier experience includes working as a Full-stack Developer at Majesticart.cz, where they developed several websites from received designs and created CMS-like administration parts. David began their professional journey as a Freelancer, working as a Full-stack Developer.

Throughout their various roles, David's work has involved a range of responsibilities such as coding, team leadership, project management, and strategy development.

David Šabata earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Brno University of Technology from 2008 to 2011. David then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Graphics at the same university from 2011 to 2013.
