Ananya Kumar has worked in a variety of roles in the design field. In 2014, they began as a Product Design Intern at THE PINKAPPLE STUDIO, where they designed interior 3D renders of a farm house for a client revolving around 'Nature' theme, helped in choosing and selecting colors and furnishings, and created and designed light fixtures by recycling pot holders. In 2015, they became an Interior Designer at DeSpace Interiors, where they created designs of the residential interiors based on client needs, designed 3D renders to help clients visualize their newly designed space, and estimated budget for raw materials, wood work, laminates and painting for each project. In 2016, they worked as a Freelance Visual Designer, designing website layouts, wireframes, sell sheets, and visuals for an upcoming cashless payment service, designing a logo and developing brand guidelines for a budding jewelry boutique, and developing posters and advertising materials for concerts, marathons, and events in San Francisco as a part of a non-profit organization. In 2018, they became a Visual Design Fellow at Six Things, LLC, where they headed a project on designing a brand book for a client and a welcome package, researched current trends of designs and layouts to create an inspiration board, and designed rough drafts by setting a theme around the brand. Since 2019, Ananya has been working at ROI·DNA, where they have held the roles of Senior UX Lead, Senior UX/UI Designer, UX/UI Designer, and Visual Designer. In their roles, they have led projects and worked with key teams to determine strategic UI/UX needs to create solutions, collaborated with SEO, Analytics, and Strategy teams to create an intuitive user experience to meet the client’s business goals, collaborated with clients to integrate feedback and business requirements into designs, designed strategic end-to-end user experiences for B2B clients to help achieve their success rates, effectively communicated design decisions to the internal teams and the client through interactive prototypes, established a Design System to support Creative and Development teams to create consistent, efficient, and scalable user experiences, created digital display ads for clients like AWS on various campaigns, developed and framed creative concepts in line with creative briefs, created detailed mood boards, mockups, and prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas to the clients effectively.
Ananya Kumar has an education history that includes a Master of Arts in Web Design and New Media from the Academy of Art University from 2017 to 2019, a Bachelor of Design in Industrial and Product Design from Symbiosis Institute of Design from 2011 to 2015, and Jawahar Higher Secondary School from 1998 to 2011.
