Joan Atcher has a strong background in scientific research and development, with a focus on chemistry and biochemistry. Joan started their career as a Visiting PhD Student at the University of Groningen in 2014. Joan then joined the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas in 2012 as a PhD Candidate, where they conducted research in their field until 2015. In 2016, Joan became a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique, where they worked until 2017. Joan then joined Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Teaching Assistant from 2017 to 2019, teaching courses related to organic chemistry and pharmaceutical analysis. In 2020, they transitioned to industry and worked at GP-Pharm as an Innovation & Continuous Improvement QC Leader until 2021. Currently, Joan is working as a Process Development Manager at Roka Furadada.
Joan Atcher has a strong educational background in the field of Chemistry. Joan started their academic journey in 2005 at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry. After completing this degree in 2009, they furthered their studies at the University of Glasgow in 2009-2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry.
To deepen their knowledge and expertise, Joan enrolled at Universitat de Barcelona from 2010 to 2012, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Organic Chemistry. Driven by their passion for the subject, they decided to continue their education at the same university in pursuit of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. From 2012 to 2015, they dedicated herself to the study of Organic Chemistry and successfully completed their doctoral program at Universitat de Barcelona.
