Roland van Zanten

Roland van Zanten has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Roland is currently working as the Director of T&D Operations & Engineering - Hawaii at Rokstad Power, where they oversee design build operations in Hawaii and engineering nationwide, with a focus on design build and EPC opportunities. Prior to joining Rokstad Power, Roland held the position of Director of Electric Operations and EPC at E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc., where they led a team providing professional services to the energy industry including consulting, engineering, project management, construction management, project controls, inspection, and scheduling. Before that, they worked at Henkels & McCoy, Inc., where they held various roles such as Director Of Operations - Gas, Program Director - Power, Director Of Technical Services, Manager of Technical Services / Engineering, Mapping Supervisor, and Project Lead and Technician. In these roles, they directed teams and managed operations for gas distribution, cathodic protection, transmission construction, power distribution construction, and technical services. Their clients included major energy companies such as Southern California Edison, Pacific Gas & Electric, and San Diego Gas & Electric, as well as various municipalities in Southern California.
