Genti Cuni

Genti Cuni is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Software Engineering at Roku Inc. since March 2016, Genti leads a talented team responsible for the backend service infrastructure supporting The Roku Channel and enhancing user content discovery experiences. Prior to Roku, Genti held various engineering roles at Virtual Instruments from 2008 to 2016, including Senior Software Engineer and Principal Engineer, where notable projects included transitioning products to a cloud-based offering on AWS. Genti also contributed to Finisar Corporation from 2001 to 2008, where responsibilities included managing software engineering teams and architecting advanced monitoring tools. Educationally, Genti earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, supplemented by a strong interest in economics.
