Project Engineer, PLC Programmer at Rolan Robotics

Thomas Plooijer has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Thomas began their career in 2012 as a Production Team Member at Aqualectra b.v. and later joined Expice B.V. in 2013, where they worked in testing and quality control for PCB boards. In 2015, Thomas completed an internship at Niteq Transport & Handling Systems, where they designed a scale model of one of their shunter vehicles. Thomas then gained further experience as a Research & Development Intern at JOZ bv in 2018, where they focused on developing a Lidar sensor driven autonomous manoeuvring system for the JOZ Moov Pro robot. From 2016 to 2020, Thomas worked as a Production Team Member at Protonic Hoorn B.V. In 2020, they joined Rolan Robotics B.V. as a Project Engineer and PLC Programmer, specializing in TIA Portal Step 7 and working in industrial automation and control.

Thomas Plooijer's education history begins at the ROC Horizon College, where they pursued a MBO degree in Engineering Elektrotechniek BOL 4. The start and end years for this program are not provided. Following this, Thomas continued their education at ROC Horizon College and obtained a MBO degree in Elektrotechnical Draftsman MBO 4 from 2012 to 2014.
