Dr. Martin Hintermayer

Dr. Martin Hintermayer currently serves as Chief of Staff Regulated & Infrastructure and Project Manager in Energy and Infrastructure at Roland Berger since September 2021, focusing on energy, infrastructure, and decarbonization. Previously, Dr. Hintermayer was a Senior Consultant in Energy and Infrastructure at Challenge Club and worked as a Consultant and Research Associate at ewi Energy Research & Scenarios gGmbH from September 2016 to February 2021, specializing in carbon markets and European electricity and gas markets. Dr. Hintermayer also has experience as a visiting researcher at the University of Bergen and completed internships at GAULY and d-fine GmbH. Academic qualifications include a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Cologne and multiple degrees in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Göttingen.
