Laurent Benarousse has been a Partner at Roland Berger since 2004. He is Managing Partner of Roland Berger's Paris office steering the firm's business in France as part of a management team made up of several Partner colleagues. He is in charge of our Civil Economics practice in Paris and Managing Partner of our Casablanca office which he founded in 2008 with the goal of developing Roland Berger’s business in Africa. He has 18 years of professional experience, 14 of which are in top management consulting. He began his career in the French Department of Defense as a Project Manager in charge of developing and promoting speech recognition systems for the French military. He then joined a top French management consultancy, where he developed his expertise in the energy and environmental sectors.

Laurent focuses his consulting activity on the civil economics, energy and process industries. Corporate strategy, long-term national strategies, performance improvement and innovation optimization are his core competencies. He holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence from the Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris, as well as Master of Science degrees from the École Polytechnique and École Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Économique in France.
