Heather McAuliffe Kitendaugh

Heather McAuliffe Kitendaugh has extensive work experience in legal and people & culture roles. Heather most recently worked at Roland Foods, LLC as the VP of Legal and People & Culture. Prior to that, they held positions such as Senior Director, Director, Associate Director, and Staff Counsel within the same company. Before joining Roland Foods, Kitendaugh worked at WeddingWire as an Associate Counsel, advising on corporate governance, finance, regulatory compliance, and international law. Heather also drafted and negotiated various contracts for domestic and international clients. Prior to that, they interned at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, where they drafted complex financial agreements and analyzed project contracts. Kitendaugh also gained experience at the Montgomery County Circuit Court as a Student Law Clerk, conducting legal research and assisting in courtroom proceedings. Heather interned at the World Bank Group, focusing on researching international laws and regulations related to women's economic participation. Additionally, they have experience in political campaigns, serving as the Finance Director for Katherine Clark's campaign and as the Deputy Finance Director for the Markey Committee. Kitendaugh also worked as a Finance Assistant for Elizabeth Warren's U.S. Senate campaign. Heather has experience in event planning and management, budgeting, and fundraising. Kitendaugh started their career at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and the Aspen Institute, where they worked on programs related to women's leadership and international development.

Heather McAuliffe Kitendaugh obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Print Journalism from American University from 2006 to 2010. In 2009, they participated in a study abroad program at Universidad de Havana, focusing on International Relations. Heather later pursued further education and completed a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from The George Washington University Law School from 2015 to 2017.
