Hunter Short is a substitute teacher at Rolla Public Schools since August 2018. Prior to that, Hunter worked as a researcher at William Jewell College from August 2016 to May 2018. Hunter conducted undergraduate research on a Missouri native plant called Bloodroot and its active chemical compounds and their effects on MCF-7 breast cancer cells. Hunter holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from William Jewell College.
