Walter Mswaka

Walter Mswaka, PhD, currently serves as an Associate Professor of Social Entrepreneurship at Rollins College since January 2021. Previous roles include Subject Group Leader for International Strategy, Sustainability, and Entrepreneurship at The University of Huddersfield, where responsibilities involved leading teaching and learning initiatives. As Social Enterprise Acceleration Programme Manager for the International Planned Parenthood Federation, Walter managed a £5 million project to enhance social enterprise approaches across various Member Associations. Earlier experience includes Principal Lecturer in Business Strategy at The University of Huddersfield and Social Enterprise Enabler with Barking & Dagenham CVS, providing support to community organizations. Walter began a career in social enterprise advisory as a Senior Business Adviser at Sheffield Community Enterprise Development Unit. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Enterprise from The University of Huddersfield.
