Joanne Chetwynd

Joanne Chetwynd is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in commercial leadership and contracting within the aerospace industry. Currently serving as Group Head of Commercial at Rolls-Royce SMR since January 2023, Joanne previously held interim leadership as Head of Commercial at The University of Sheffield's Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre. Joanne's distinguished career at Rolls-Royce spanned over two decades, where significant roles included Head of Vendor Management and Service Delivery, Head of Contracting Services, and Commercial Executive for various divisions, where responsibilities encompassed commercial strategy, negotiation, and operational leadership. Joanne also contributed as a Board Member at Rolls-Royce Electrical Norway AS and gained international experience as Contracts Manager for International Aero Engines. An alumnus of Nottingham Business School, Joanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies.
