Nadim Anwar CEng FIET has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Nadim is currently a Chief Design Engineer (EC&I) at Rolls-Royce SMR since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at EDF (UK) for over a decade, holding various positions such as Electrical/C&I Discipline Chair, Group Leader, Group Head, and Group Head (Acting) - Process Control and Instrumentation Group. In these roles, they were responsible for managing teams, delivering business plans, and overseeing budget management. Before joining EDF (UK), Nadim worked at British Energy, where they gained experience as a Design Engineer, C&I Engineer, Data Processing and Control Systems Engineer, and Graduate Trainee. In these positions, they were involved in nuclear safety cases, commissioning control systems, and conducting lifecycle management studies. Nadim's expertise lies in control system analysis and design, plant computing, C&I system development, testing, installation, and commissioning.

Nadim Anwar CEng FIET has a strong educational background in engineering. Nadim obtained a Secondary School Certificate in Sciences from Shaheen High School P.A.F in Karachi, Pakistan from 1976 to 1986. Nadim then pursued Pre-Engineering at D. J. Sindh Government Science College from 1987 to 1989, earning a Higher School Certificate. Nadim continued their education at Sheffield Hallam University in 1991, completing a Foundation Course in Engineering. Nadim then attended The University of Sheffield from 1992 to 1996, obtaining a B.Eng. (Hons) in Control Systems Engineering. Nadim further specialized in Systems Engineering through a M.Sc. (Research) from The University of Sheffield, completed from 1996 to 1997. With this educational background, Nadim Anwar CEng FIET has a solid foundation in engineering and systems-related fields.
