Arjan van den Born

Arjan van den Born is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in academia and consultancy, currently serving as Algemeen Directeur at ROM Utrecht Region since July 2020. As a Professor of Digital Entrepreneurship and Academic Director at the Jheronimus Academy of Data Science since January 2015, Arjan focuses on research that intersects entrepreneurship and Big Data. Additionally, involvement at Tilburg University since September 2012 emphasizes research on digital entrepreneurship and value creation through digital technologies. Previous roles include Director at Born To Grow, Scientist of Organizational Change at Universiteit Utrecht, and Managing Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers/IBM, among others. Arjan has earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Utrecht University and holds multiple advanced degrees in economics and finance.
