Jos Hummelen

Jos Hummelen is an experienced contentspecialist currently working at ROM Utrecht Region since January 2023, contributing to initiatives such as Earth Valley and Startup Utrecht Region. Prior to this, Jos held positions as contentspecialist at Eastpackers, where the organization focused on promoting understanding of post-communist societies through travel and exchange programs, and at MDT Missie and College de Heemlanden, where Jos also worked as an educator. Earlier career highlights include a role as a journalist at BNR Nieuwsradio, participating in various programs, and teaching geography at Metis Montessori Lyceum and Winford Particulier Onderwijs. Jos holds multiple degrees from Utrecht University, including a Master of Arts in Geo-educatie and a Master of Science in Geocommunicatie, along with foundational education in social sciences and work.
