Marc Kalf

Marc Kalf is a seasoned professional in the healthcare and life sciences sectors, currently serving as a Senior Business Developer for Health at ROM Utrecht Region since March 2022. With extensive experience in coaching and mentoring startups, Marc has held positions such as Startup Coach for the Sustainable Healthcare Challenge and Coach for the Avicenna Excellence Program. Previously, Marc was the National Ecosystem Director at Health Valley, focusing on business development for startups and SMEs. Other roles include being a mentor at YES!Delft and Rockstart, and serving as the Chairman of the Board at Stichting ZorgInnovatie Nederland. Marc began a career in sales and marketing within the oncology field at renowned companies such as GlaxoSmithKline and Roche. Educationally, Marc Kalf holds an Executive Master of Business Innovation & Entrepreneurship in Life Sciences & Health from Utrecht University, and a Master’s degree in Human Movement Science from the University of Groningen.
