Rianne Overeem

Rianne Overeem is an experienced manager and policy advisor with a strong background in innovation, economic policy, and spatial planning. Currently serving as Manager Innoveren at ROM Utrecht Region since April 2022, Rianne previously held the role of Coördinator innoveren en subsidies at Provincie Utrecht from October 2019 to April 2022. Rianne's extensive experience includes a decade at the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs, where various positions encompassed programme management for innovation instruments and senior policy advisory roles in spatial planning and land use. Notable early career contributions include consulting for housing corporations and serving at the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature, and Food Quality. Rianne holds a Doctoraal degree in Sociale geografie en planologie from Utrecht University.
