Anna Marie Vargas-Leveriza, Ph.D., has extensive experience in mental health and education, currently serving as the Director of the Office of Child and Youth Protection and Safe Environment Training at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix since February 2013. In addition to this role, Anna holds a position as a therapist at Imagine Therapy AZ, focusing on trauma, addiction, grief, domestic violence, and anger management. Anna also contributes as an adjunct faculty member at Grand Canyon University, teaching master's level psychology courses. Previous roles include Special Investigations Analyst at SCAN Health Plan, Behavioral Health Case Manager Supervisor at the University of Phoenix, and Clinical Coordinator at Magellan Health Services, among others.
