Mark Herrema

Mark Herrema is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at RoMan Manufacturing since April 2024, Mark previously held the position of Vice President of Engineering at Flow-Rite Controls, where responsibilities included leading engineering and marketing to align with the company's strategic plan and overseeing significant product launches, including a hydroponics vertical and the first Internet of Things (IoT) product. Mark's initiative in lean manufacturing led to a substantial reduction in production headcount and inventory while significantly enhancing on-time delivery. Prior experience includes pivotal roles at Delphi, where Mark developed cost-saving processes and optimized manufacturing operations. Mark holds a Master's degree in Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
