Heather McCarthy

Heather McCarthy has a diverse range of work experience in the wine industry. Heather started their career as a Tasting Room Attendant at Tolosa Winery in 2008 and later worked as a Harvest Cellar Technician at Courtside Cellars in 2009. Heather then joined Tolosa Winery again in 2010 as a Marketing and Logistics Coordinator. In 2012, Heather moved to Delicato Family Vineyards, where they started as a Public Relations Coordinator and worked their way up to becoming an Associate Brand Manager and then a Brand Manager. In 2016, they joined Treasury Wine Estates as a Brand Manager for Beringer Vineyards. Their most recent role has been as the Director of Marketing at Rombauer Vineyards, a position they have held since November 2017.

Heather McCarthy completed their education at various institutions. Heather received a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Wine Business from the School of Business and Economics at Sonoma State University in 2016-2017. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Science in Journalism at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2004 to 2009. Additionally, in 2008 they obtained a minor in Wine and Viticulture from the University of Adelaide.
