Otto Flores

Otto Flores has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Otto started their career in 2005 as a Store Supervisor at Pizza Hut Dominicana, where they focused on ensuring compliance with company regulations and improving daily operations. In 2008, they transitioned to Andin International as a Costing and Building Analyst, providing support to various departments through cost systems and managing suppliers. Otto then joined the Dufry Group in 2009 as a Retail Stores Supervisor, overseeing retail operations. In 2013, Otto Flores joined Ron Barceló, initially serving as a Ron Barceló Tourist Project Manager, supervising and coordinating tourism projects. Subsequently, they became a Barcelo Global Brand Ambassador, and in 2021, they were promoted to the role of Global Head of Ambassadors, responsible for product messaging, agency support, and communication with the marketing and trade marketing teams.

Otto Flores holds a Master's degree in Management and Productivity from Universidad APEC, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Universidad Catolica Santo Domingo from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Otto has obtained various certifications, including being a WSET Level 2 Spirits Certified and WSET Level 1 Spirits Certified from WSET - Wine & Spirit Education Trust in 2021 and 2020, respectively. Otto has also been trained as a Sommelier at El Catador in 2019 and has certifications in oratory, communication skills for leaders, fermentation and waste treatment seminar, and high-impact presentations.
