Florian Pichl

Florian Pichl has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Florian is currently working as the Head of Group Business Development at RONAL GROUP. Prior to that, they held positions at Kistler Group as the Head of Business Development Plastics and as a Strategic Business Development Manager. Florian also worked at OST – Ostschweizer Fachhochschule as a Guest Lecturer and at thyssenkrupp Presta AG as a Product Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineer. Florian began their career as an Intern at Airbus.

Florian Pichl holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of St.Gallen, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering) from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg between 2005 and 2011. Additionally, Florian completed their Master Thesis in Polymer Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2010 to 2011. In terms of certifications, they have obtained several, including "Introduction to Sustainability Reporting and the GRI Standards" from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in April 2021, "Sustainability Leadership and Corporate Responsibility" from the London Business School in April 2021, and "CE01x: Circular Economy: An Interdisciplinary Approach" from edX - WageningenX in August 2020.
