Kim Tang has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Kim started their career as a Social Media and Marketing Intern at The College of New Jersey's Career Center from January 2017 to May 2019. Following that, they interned at National Geographic as a Social Media Intern from June 2019 to August 2019, where they created, edited, and published content for @InsideNatGeo and the National Geographic Society's Newsroom. In 2019, they returned to The College of New Jersey as a Social Media and Communications Intern in the Office of Communications, Marketing & Brand Management, from August 2019 to May 2020.
In 2020, Kim moved into the healthcare industry, working as a Strategy Intern at FCBCURE, an IPG Health Company, from June 2020 to August 2020. Kim then joined FCB Health as a Business Development Coordinator from October 2020 to July 2021. Following that, they worked at Sesame Workshop as an Administrative Assistant in Humanitarian Programs from July 2021 to October 2022.
Most recently, in October 2022, Kim joined Ronald McDonald House New York as a Project Assistant in the President's Office.
Kim Tang attended The College of New Jersey from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies. Additionally, they pursued minors in Graphic Design and Marketing during their time at the university.

Ronald McDonald House New York provides temporary housing for pediatric cancer patients and their families in a strong, supportive and caring environment which encourages and nurtures the development of child-to-child and parent-to-parent support systems. Ronald McDonald House New York is the largest facility of its type in the world. The House can accommodate 95 families, and it is filled to capacity almost every night. The House’s location in Manhattan, in close proximity to 16 major cancer treatment centers, draws children and families from across the country and the world, as well as from the metropolitan New York City area. Since its founding, more than 35,000 families have stayed at Ronald McDonald House New York.
