Lola Combs-Lewis

Lola Combs-Lewis, LCSW, CCM, has extensive experience in social work and care management across various healthcare settings. Currently serving as Promise Manager for Population Health Management at Blue Shield of California since January 2021, Lola oversees daily operations within a children's pod and works on building a supportive team of social workers and health advocates. Previous roles include Care Manager and Manager of Care Management Clinical Social Work, where Lola assessed members' psychosocial needs and coordinated resources for hospital patients. Additional experience includes positions as a Medical Social Worker at Loma Linda University Medical Center and various hospice organizations, where Lola provided psychosocial assessments and emotional support. Lola also has experience in the County of Riverside, managing a large caseload and coordinating care for clients. Educational qualifications include an MSW from Saint Louis University and an MA in Health Service Management from Webster University.
