Nicolás Villalba

Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical and firmware engineer with over a decade of expertise in developing collaborative solutions at SMART Technologies since July 2010. Current responsibilities include the design and development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Prior experience includes work as an electronics contractor at the Science Alberta Foundation, where electronics design and repair for educational devices were key tasks, and as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for forestry equipment. Chris Nicol also served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, contributing to various engineering courses. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
