Villem Alango

Villem Alango is an experienced professional in software development and business analysis with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Software Development Technical Lead at Roofit.solar since April 2022, Alango previously held positions as a Business Analyst at the Information Technology Centre of the Ministry of Environment and as a Partner and Senior Expert at E-Governance Academy. Alango co-founded AS Datel, where contributions included establishing a profitable software development division and leading various technical roles, including Head of Global Operations and Quality Manager. In addition, Alango served as the CEO of Ovela LLC and worked as a contractual expert on e-governance for UNDP. Early career experience includes freelance programming and R&D project management at Tallinn Technical University. Alango holds an educational background from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology and GAG.
