Dipankar Pal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. As the Managing Director and Founder of Roofsol Energy Pvt Ltd since June 2016, Dipankar has spearheaded the company’s efforts in providing solar solutions to industrial and commercial clients in India. Prior to this, Dipankar served as General Partner at Ellora Capital from June 2020 to June 2023 and held several executive positions, including Managing Director of logistics and manufacturing at EMR, CEO of Slurry Pipeline Companies at Essar Steel, and Managing Director at Essar Ports, Vopak, and SHV Gas. Dipankar’s academic credentials include an MBA in Business and Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University, and an Advanced Management Program from London Business School.
