Jeff Young

Jeff Young has a long and varied career in accounting, beginning in 1987 as an Accountant for Greyhound Lines, Inc. In 1998, they joined Novations as a Group Controller, overseeing the implementation and monthly compliance of sales tax reporting in forty-six states, as well as being responsible for all areas of accounting including implementation of Great Plains Dynamics software, financial reports, and annual audit. Jeff also created and was responsible for a company budget of $25 million. Later that same year, they became the VP/Group Controller for American Media. In 2008, they accepted a position as Accounting Manager for MidAmerica Recycling, followed by Controller positions at Housby Mack, Inc. and Relationship Marketing in 2009 and 2011 respectively. In 2013, they became a Supervisor Technology & Management Consulting at RSM US LLP, and in 2016, they moved to TempCFO, Inc. as a Senior Controller. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Rooled as a Senior Controller.

Jeff Young's education history began with St. Joseph from 1970-1979. Jeff then attended Heelan High School from 1979-1982, followed by Westwood High School from 1982-1983. Jeff then attended Western Iowa Tech from 1983-1985, and Iowa State University from 1986-1987. Finally, they completed a BS in Accounting from Upper Iowa University from 2006-2008.
