Joy Parker

Joy Parker is a web QA analyst at Room & Board, responsible for designing and implementing both manual and automated tests for web applications since September 2013. Previously, Joy served as the web QA lead at MakeMusic, ensuring the quality of various websites, and held roles as operations engineer and quality assurance analyst/IT support specialist within the same company. Joy also worked as a web configuration specialist at Merrill Corporation, where responsibilities included building web-based stores. Earlier in the career, Joy gained extensive experience as a photojournalist at ThisWeek Community Newspapers, managing a team and overseeing story generation, and as a medical technologist at Nationwide Children's Hospital, developing clinical laboratory procedures. Joy holds a BS in Information Technology from DeVry University, a graduate certification in Health Information Management and Exchange Specialist from The College of St. Scholastica, and a BS in Medical Technology from The Ohio State University.
