Badruzzaman Khan

Badruzzaman Khan has extensive work experience in various roles related to program operations, research, monitoring, and evaluation. Badruzzaman has worked for Room to Read and Save the Children in Bangladesh and the United States.

At Room to Read, Khan served as the Program Operations Director, where they managed field offices, custom projects, and a large staff. Badruzzaman'sresponsibilities included resource allocation, communication with field offices, coaching program managers, preparing strategies and budgets, addressing implementation challenges, managing budgets, coordinating with government stakeholders, and overseeing reporting and communication requirements.

In their role as the Sr. Manager of Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation at Room to Read, Khan established a result-based monitoring system, enhanced staff capacity in monitoring systems, contributed to global RM&E guidelines, oversaw research and evaluation processes, coordinated program expansion activities, and represented the organization in various forums.

Previously, at Save the Children's Bangladesh Country Office, Khan worked as the Manager of Monitoring and Evaluation and Management Information System. Badruzzaman also held a role as a Senior Program Officer at Save the Children US.

In 2019, Khan briefly served as the Acting Country Director for Room to Read Bangladesh.

Badruzzaman also holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Environment from the University of Dhaka from 1993 to 1996. Badruzzaman completed their Higher Secondary Certificate from Dhaka College in 1991 and their Secondary School Certificate from Dhaka Residential Model College from 1983 to 1990. Additionally, Badruzzaman pursued a Master of Arts in Disaster Management from the University of Dhaka and a Master of Arts in Geography.
