Dina Elabd

Dina Elabd is an experienced Program Manager at Room to Read since December 2016, leading initiatives in the Middle East focused on educational partnerships, literacy, and gender equality in countries such as Jordan, Lebanon, and Egypt. Prior roles include Project Coordinator for a collaboration with the Queen Rania Foundation to adapt literature for Jordan and participating as a Project Advisor for the Peace & Equality Book Collection. Dina also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Arabic Book A Month, promoting Arabic literacy through children's literature. Earlier in their career, Dina worked as an Analyst at The World Bank, where significant funding contributions were managed, and as an English Teacher at The International School of Choueifat in Amman. Dina holds a degree in Education from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The American University in Cairo.
