Krishnan NV has extensive work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Krishnan is currently serving as the Global Director of Accounting at Room to Read, where they manage global consolidated accounts and leads a team of six members. Prior to this, Krishnan was the Finance Director at Sightsavers, responsible for shaping financial policies and leading the budgeting process. Krishnan also worked as the Finance Director at Room to Read India, where they developed financial policies and established accounting and monitoring structures. Krishnan has experience as a Finance Manager at Room to Read Asia Regional Office and Hindustan Latex Family Planning Promotion Trust. Krishnan started their career as an Internal Auditor at Plan International and later served as the Head of Internal Audit at Plan International India, where they made important contributions by performing systems reviews and organizing special audits.

Krishnan NV attended DTEA Senior Secondary School from 1984 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree. Krishnan also pursued additional certifications in Accounting and Finance, Auditing, Taxation, and IT Audits, including Chartererd Accountant, CISA, and DISA.
