Nisha Joshi has extensive experience in programs focused on girls' education, gender equality, and women's empowerment. Currently serving as the Senior Program Officer for the Girl's Education and Gender Equality Program at Room to Read since November 2013, Nisha has developed and implemented strategies that support girls in their educational journeys and life skills. Previous roles include Consultant at Rural Litigation and Entitlement Kendra, where responsibilities included project monitoring and team leadership, and Program Coordinator at the Self Employed Women Association, where Nisha developed strategies for women's empowerment through microfinance. Nisha's early career featured positions as a Legal Researcher and Program Coordinator, emphasizing community legal training and adolescent girls’ empowerment. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Gender and Development from the University of Sussex, a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights, and a Bachelor of Laws from HNBG University.
