Ira Regmi

Ira Regmi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They are currently working as a Program Manager at the Roosevelt Institute since February 2022. Prior to this, Ira worked as a Consultant from September 2020 to March 2022. They also served as a Graduate Consultant at Jusoor from November 2019 to May 2020, and as a Program Assistant at Columbia | SIPA from August 2019 to May 2020. Ira's previous experience includes an internship at the Permanent Mission of Afghanistan to the United Nations from September 2019 to December 2019, and a consulting role at Kelly Shawn Joseph Consulting from May 2019 to August 2019. They also worked as a Financial Reporter at S&P Global Market Intelligence from October 2016 to April 2018. Additionally, Ira was self-employed as an International Debating and Public Speaking Consultant from June 2013 to February 2018, providing guidance and training to educational institutions and participating in international tournaments. They also worked as an Assistant Manager at Akkado from August 2015 to September 2016, and as a Junior Project Officer - Intern at Development Consultancy Center from December 2013 to January 2014.

Ira Regmi completed a Master's degree in Gender and Public Policy & Economic and Political Development from Columbia University from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2014, Ira obtained a Bachelor's Degree in BA (Honors) Economics from Lady Shri Ram College For Women. Ira's high school education was completed at Rato Bangala with a focus on GCE A Levels, including Mathematics, Economics, Business Studies, Physics, and Literature in the years leading up to 2010.
