Ahmed Fareed has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in software engineering and development. Starting in 2004 as a Website Developer at Goldmine Software House Islamabad, they then worked as an IT Consultant at Tele-Logic from 2005 to 2007. From 2008 to 2011, they served as a Project Manager at Naksoft. Ahmed then transitioned to become a Business Mentor for startups at A4e starting in 2012. In 2014, they founded TechChaps, a company focused on developing SaaS products for digital agencies and businesses. Ahmed held the role of Founder until 2019, during which they designed, planned, and developed SaaS products for clients. Ahmed worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Packt from 2019 to 2020, where they worked on Microservices and Front-end websites and web apps using Angular, React, and AWS Lambdas. Ahmed later joined Wearable Technologies Ltd as a Senior Software Developer from January to June 2022. From July 2022 to February 2023, Ahmed served as a Technical Lead at BT. Currently, they are employed as a Lead Software Developer at TechChaps. In 2023, they will be joining NatWest Rooster Money as a Senior Software Engineer.
Ahmed Fareed's education history includes several institutions and areas of study. It started with attending BCUIC (Birmingham City University International College) for an unspecified period of time. In 2002, they enrolled at the University of the Punjab and completed a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature, General by 2003. Ahmed then pursued an Associate's Degree in Business/Commerce, General from BIC International College, which they completed in 2008. Prior to these higher education experiences, Ahmed attended Public School and College Jutial from 1997 to 1999 and earned a High School degree with a focus on Pre-Engineering. In 1995, they also completed a course in Computer Programming, Specific Applications at InfoStreaks.
