Elizabeth Teague

Elizabeth Teague is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience at Root Capital, currently serving as Senior Director of the Climate Resilience Initiative. Elizabeth is responsible for overseeing the strategic vision, program direction, and evaluation of global initiatives focused on climate resilience. Previous roles at Root Capital include Director and Associate Director of Social & Environmental Performance, where Elizabeth directed social and environmental due diligence and led the Climate Resilience Initiative. Earlier, Elizabeth worked as an Agricultural Assistant at the Asian Rural Institute, promoting sustainable agricultural practices, and as an intern at the U.S. Department of State, contributing to policy analysis and cross-agency coordination. Elizabeth holds a B.A. in History and French Language and Literature from Dartmouth College.
