Kim Macphail

Kim is the Communications Manager at Root Cause. She joined in 2020 with a background in nonprofit and public health marketing and communications. Previously, Kim worked for the Affordable Care Act health exchange in RI through a health policy consulting firm. During her time there, she channeled her digital media, graphic design, email marketing and strategic communication skills to decrease the uninsured population in the state. She graduated from Saint Micheal’s College in 2017 where she studied Media Studies, Journalism and Digital Arts and Global Studies. While there, she interned with two nonprofits, Population Media Center and Common Good Vermont, and played college field hockey.
