Rachel Borshansky

Rachel Borshansky is a skilled biomedical engineer with extensive experience in the design and development of medical devices. Currently serving as a Senior Biomedical Engineer at Root3 Labs since May 2019, Rachel specializes in transforming innovative ideas into tangible products for various stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and federal agencies. Prior roles include serving as a Healthcare Associate at Mercy Medical Center, where direct assistance with medical procedures and interface with physicians was key, and as a Biomedical Engineer at Meridan Medical Technologies, where Rachel improved drug delivery systems and addressed customer feedback through analysis. Additional experience encompasses leading projects focused on device prototyping and conducting research studies. Rachel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Maryland, complemented by international educational experiences in Jerusalem.
