Hedy Yu has had a diverse work experience, starting with their role as President of the Asian Student Association in 2016. In the same year, they also held the role of Overnight Ad Host at the University of Redlands. In 2017, they were a Speaker Team Representative for TEDxWasedaU and a Barista for Lollicup USA, Inc. In 2018, they were a Growth Intern, Marketing for Hansel, an Organizational Consultant for The Lily of the Valley Foundation, and an Academic Advisor for the University of Redlands. In 2019, they were a Supervisor for UNIQLO. Currently, they are a Co-Founder for Rooted Fare and a Digital Marketing Specialist for Simplicity Teas, where they have built and measured series of email campaigns with a reach of over 6,000 and open rates as high as 40% and CTR as high as 6.4%, contributing to an increase in 2020 holiday sales compared to last year. Hedy has also increased conversion rates on digital storefronts from 4 to 7.
Hedy Yu's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Storytelling from the University of Redlands, which they obtained between 2015 and 2019. Hedy also completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Mt. San Antonio College in 2016.
