Vijayasekaran Veluchamy

Vijayasekaran Veluchamy has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the manufacturing and aerospace industries. Vijayasekaran is currently the Senior Vice President at Roots Industries India Limited. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Operations at VAL-MET ENGINEERING PRIVATE LIMITED and as the Senior Vice President - Defence and Aerospace at GTN Engineering (I) Ltd. Vijayasekaran also held a significant position at Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd as the Head of Operations, where they successfully built an integrated aerospace setup. Earlier in their career, they established and managed the manufacturing setup as the Head of Mfg, BD, and Operation at Trusted Aerospace engg pvt ltd. Vijayasekaran Veluchamy began their professional journey at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), where they held various leadership roles, including Joint Director and Assistant Director, leading teams in the design and development of aero engines, vehicles, and aircraft projects.

Vijayasekaran Veluchamy's education history begins in 1981 when they attended Thiagarajar College of Engineering. Vijayasekaran obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical engineering in 1985. After completing their undergraduate studies, Vijayasekaran Veluchamy pursued higher education at the Defense Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), DU, DRDO from 1989 to 1991. During this period, they earned a Master's degree in Military vehicle technology. Additionally, they also obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Combat Vehicle and Engineering from the same institute during the same time period.
