Steve McCallum

Steve McCallum is an experienced professional in the field of impact finance, currently holding the position of Manager in Transaction Management & Consulting at Roots of Impact since January 2022, where expertise in Impact-Linked Finance drives positive change. Prior to this role, Steve provided consultancy services related to impact investing and management, assisting various stakeholders from June 2018 to January 2022. Experience includes project management at the Bertha Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship, focusing on innovative finance solutions, as well as academic contributions as a Junior Lecturer at Stellenbosch University. Educational qualifications include a Cum Laude MCom from Stellenbosch University, an Executive Education program from the University of Oxford, and several degrees in finance and investment management. Additionally, Steve co-founded Invia Granola and has a background as a Loan Assistant at Standard Bank Group.
