Rebecca Hui has a diverse work experience, beginning with a role as a Fulbright Research Scholar for the U.S. Department of State in 2013. Rebecca also became an Explorer for the National Geographic Society in the same year. In 2015, they took on the role of an MIT-TATA Research Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In 2016, they were appointed a Global Fellow at Echoing Green. In 2018, they became a Fellow at Unreasonable, and in 2019 they were a New Inc Y7 Member at the New Museum of Contemporary Art. Most recently, they are the Chief Executive Officer at Roots Studio.
Rebecca Hui attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they earned a degree in City Planning. Rebecca then attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, where they studied Business Administration and Architecture.
