Ileana Ortiz De Leon is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as the CTSS Supervisor and Clinical-Trainee at Roots Wellness Center since December 2022. Previously, Ileana worked at Nystrom & Associates, Ltd. from January 2016 to December 2022 as a Training Specialist, where responsibilities included training new School-Based Mental Health Professionals and fostering relational equity with schools. Other notable roles include providing individual therapy as a School-Based Therapist and delivering in-home counseling as an ARMHS worker. Freelance experience as an interpreter and coordination of a cultural exchange program further illustrate diverse skills. Ileana holds a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Universidad Panamericana Guatemala and a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology from Universidad Rafael Landívar.
